FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

What file extensions are available for Word and Acrobat forms?

Microsoft Word
The Microsoft Word (.doc) format opens on PCs with Microsoft Word installed. On Mac, you will need Microsoft Word for Mac or AppleWorks to open this type of file. The benefit of using these Microsoft Word files is that you may open the form and edit it on your computer.

Adobe Acrobat
The Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format
works on both PCs and Macs. You need the free Acrobat Reader software to view these files (or the Preview Application included in Mac OS X). The benefit of Acrobat (.pdf) files is that they look and print identically on all computers. Acrobat files are not editable and may only be printed; to edit PDF files you will need Acrobat Professional or use one of the many third party software applications that allow you to edit Acrobat files.
